and we are definitely going to use them!1. Allow only full-blown tantrums. If Alex is simply cranky or whiny, my husband and I will tell him he can do better - we want to see him on the floor, arms waving, legs kicking, etc. Hopefully when we say "Try harder," he'll have to laugh!
2. If Alex forgets to say "please," we will have him repeat a special phrase along the lines of, "Daddy, oh most wonderful father of all fathers, please . . ." I think it'll be good to find ways to teach him what's proper without nagging!
