Morning Coffee: Lots of Sales

Today's Ebates Daily Double store is Banana Republic, which is giving 10% cash back (instead of the usual 2%). They have a sale going on, so it's worth a look, although some sizes are limited - I saw women's pants normally priced at $80 on sale for $25, and other steep discounts. They also have flat rate shipping for $7.To learn more about Ebates, read my original review. If you sign up through my referral link, we'll both get a bonus when you make your first purchase within 30 days! has an end-of-season sale with discounts up to 70% off - the selection looks pretty good right now. If you like Naturalizer shoes like I do, I highly recommend registering with their site - for my birthday last year, they sent me a $10 off any purchase coupon, and I was able to get a pair of shoes that's normally $75 for less than $25, including shipping, after the sale price and $10 discount.

Amazon has some good sales too: The Hasbro Games Monopoly Deal Card Gameis 50% off at $5.99. Other Hasbro gamesare also on sale. Disclosure: I'm an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!

Amazon also has a clearance sale on Christmas decorations. The selection is small and, well, weird - my favorite is this Kurt Adler Steinbach German Wooden Nutcracker, Darth Vader edition -it's regular price is $500, but it's 50% off so "only" $254.57. Now I love Star Wars as much as anyone but this is just bizarre.

Get a free sample of Cream of Wheat from Start Sampling - choose from seven different varieties. Start Sampling was one of the first sites I ever joined, and their samples really do come!

Get a printable coupon for $10 off a $30 purchase at Party City.

Get $5 off a $30 purchase, including contact lenses at with code HEALTH5. This can be a great deal, because I found contact lenses were cheaper at Walgreens than they were at Costco, plus, they were shipped right to our door so I didn't have to brave all of the Costco crowds. (I don't know if every Costco is like that, but the one near us is usually a nightmare. I go as little as possible, pretty much just for birthday cakes.)

Get a printable coupon for $1.50/2 any Ziploc products. Ziploc qualifies for the $5 SC Johnson rebate, so these coupons could really help stretch your dollars.
