Today's Amazon Video Game Deal of the Dayis a Pink Deluxe Starter Kitfor the Nintendo DSi. I can't help thinking that I would have loved something like this when I was a kid, if only they'd had handheld game systems this small. I had the very first Gameboy, which was comparatively huge and unbelievably heavy. But boy, I sure loved playing Tetris on it. Mark Bittman explains how to eat sushi in an environmentally responsible manner. I'm cool with most of his tips, but my favorite sushi/sashimi is yellowtail (hamachi), which I suspect is not within the groups he talks about.

One final thought: I took the time yesterday to seriously clean off my desk, and I'm really happy that I did. It feels so good to have clear surfaces, instead of piles of paper. I even culled through the piles of paper that are supposed to be there, and got rid of things that are outdated or could be filed away now that they're no longer pending. I highly recommend taking the time to do something to make yourself feel good - because it really does feel good!
