The Drugstore Game This Week: Starter Walgreens Transactions 8/29 - 9/4/10

Transaction #1:

Pay: $2 + tax
Receive: $2 RR


Transaction #2:
1 Breath Right Nasal Strips (10 ct.), $4
1 filler, e.g., 2-pocket folder, 20 cents with in-ad coupon

- $1.50/1 Breathe Right Product from 4/11 RP
- $2 RR from previous transaction

Pay: 70 cents + tax
Receive: $4 RR


Transaction #3:
1 Walgreens Perfect Tampons (8 ct.), $1.99
1 Colgate Total Toothpaste, $2.99
1 filler, e.g., 2-pocket folder, 20 cents with in-ad coupon

- $1/1 Colgate Total Toothpaste, Fall Diabetes and You Walgreens Magazine (By Pharmacy)
- $4 RR from previous transaction

Pay: 18 cents + tax
Receive: $2 RR for W Tampons and $2 RR for Colgate


Transaction #4:
2 Soft Soap Body Wash or Irish Spring Body Wash, 2/$7
2 fillers, e.g., 2-pocket folder, 20 cents with in-ad coupon

Pay: $1 + tax
Receive: $5 RR

    What is even better is that I bought the Breathe Right nasal strips using my flexible spending account (FSA) debit card. The FSA is a health care spending account that you sign up for with your company during open enrollment. I got the $4 RR with no out-of-pocket expense.

    @pfstock - I've heard of those, but my plan doesn't offer the debit card. What a great way to save money easily!
