I don't know how long this has been the case, but when I purchased the Weekend Edition of the LA Times on Saturday, it was only 75 cents. It had all of the coupon inserts and circulars; the only thing it may have been missing was the LA Times Magazine. I let my subscription run out back in April and have been waiting for the Times to woo me back with an awesome deal (like the extended weekend delivery for $19 with a $10 gift card deal from last year). In the meantime though, you can bet I'm just going to start buying the 75-cent weekend edition.

I find the weekend edition of LA Times in Walgreens. Acts as a good filler item for 75 cents. Also, the current deal for LA Times is 'Sunday service for 9.88/year'. Promo code: 930710. Says only for new customers. But I called them, and they were OK ;).Contcat: 18003265500.

@anon - It was at CVS. I used self-checkout and was totally thrown off when the paper rang up 75 cents. So I looked closer and at the top left, it said 75 cents. I had to get 2 so I could use my ECB, lol.

@Thabal - Love the idea of using it as a filler, and I will definitely call. Thanks so much!
