Morning Coffee: My heartfelt apologies

On Saturday, I posted about a Rite Aid deal that I did, using a Buy One, Get One free coupon on Playtex products. But last night, a reader let me know that the coupon wasn't for any Playtex products, but a 36-count and 18-count box. The 36-count box isn't part of the sale and not what I'd bought. I am so sorry for not reading the coupon carefully and for not realizing that it didn't apply to this particular sale. I would never knowingly suggest that anyone use a coupon improperly, and apologize wholeheartedly for this error.

Freebies 4 Mom reports that you can get 20 free 4x8 flat photo cards at Snapfish with code BABIES (exp 10/31). You'll have to pay $5.99 shipping, which works out to 30 cents per card. As I recall from my holiday pricing a couple of years ago, that's a pretty good deal - back then, 30 cents per card was the best deal I could find.

RedplumThere are several new coupons at RedPlum, including $1/1 Johnson's Naturals. There are also quite a few skincare and make-up coupons. Links via Logical Media

Coupons Inc.Meanwhile, has added a bunch of pet food coupons, including $1/1 Purina Friskies Cat Treats, $1/1 Purina Friskies Dry Cat Food, and $1/1 Purina Dog Chow. There are also new Dannon yogurt coupons - many of the 4-packs are $1.88 at Ralphs, so they'll be 88 cents if your store doubles to $1. Links via Logical Media

Get a printable coupon for $8/1 any Dulcolax Balance.

Once A Month Mom reports that you can expect to get about 8 1/2 cups of breadcrumbs from 21 slices of bread. (She has figures for hamburger and hot dog buns too.)

GrouponYou can now get 3% cash back on Groupons through Ebates! I bought my first Groupon just over a month ago, and I've since bought four more, so I'm averaging about one a week. I just love getting things at a huge discount :) Disclosure: If you use my affiliate link to join either Groupon or Ebates, I'll get a bonus - thank you!

If you're planning on buying the ECB-generating Renu contact lens solution at CVS this week, keep an eye out for a 2-for-1 bonus pack at $7.49 that produces the ECB.

Growing Up Gabel reports that Walmart carries cheap organic cotton pajamas for kids.

Life as Mom has a great "Morning High Five" chart to get your kids working cooperatively with you in the a.m.

I think its really good for readers to know that the coupon pros make mistakes too... last week, I had the perfect purchase set up for Rite Aid (even found $2/1 peelies for the Sarna lotion I was working into the deal) and after the cashier rang everything up, it turned out my $5/25 coupon was expired. I had 3 or 4 more of them at home, but none in my coupon folder. So I had to leave and repeat the whole thing the next day (Rite aid is right down the road from me, so it was worth the $5).

So anyway, thanks for sharing your successes AND your mistakes!
