Midmorning Coffee: Did Borders give you Bonus Bucks?

Last week, I got an email from Borders that they had credited my Borders Rewards account with $10 Bonus Bucks. Also last week, I bought $50 worth of Borders gift cards online, because it comes with a bonus $5 gift card (and I went through Ebates to get 4% back, so I paid $48 for $55 of gift cards). I've been waiting for the gift cards to arrive before I go to the store, but I just discovered that I'm out of time because those $10 Bonus Bucks expire today! If you got the same offer and haven't used it yet, you might want to check the expiration date. To make your deal a little sweeter, you can use this printable coupon for 33% off the list price of one item.

The Black Friday Week deals continue at Amazon. Today's Deal of the Day is the Harry Potter Movies DVD set (the first six movies) for just $23.99 (Blu-Ray is $39.99). That's less than $4 per movie, and a great way to get caught up for the seventh movie, which came out last weekend. (I was actually able to go see it and it was great, albeit a little overlong.) The set also qualifies for a $5 Video on Demand promotional code. Disclosure: I'm an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!

Today's Lightning Deals today include a Spiderman watch at 9 a.m. PST, and Michael Bublé's Crazy Love album at 1 p.m. Amazon is also offering five mp3 albums for $1.99 today only.

Amazon is also offering blue topaz jewelry for 50% off. If you click through the link, you should see the pieces sorted from the lowest prices, and there are quite a few inexpensive yet pretty pieces that would make lovely gifts.

Finally, if you spend $30 in Amazon's Magazine Store through November 30, you'll receive a $10 promotional code to use on a future purchase. They have a huge selection, and there's a $5 subscription sale going on right now.
