Midmorning Coffee: Endless deals

I'm pretty much done with my holiday shopping, but the deals just keep coming and this is a great time to stock up on gifts to keep on hand. I always have at least a few things in my closet for birthdays and other occasions.

It looks like Amazon is done, at least for a while, with the holiday lightning deals, and has gone back to the regular Lightning Deals. But they still have some noteworthy deals, including discounts on Blizzard PC games such as World of Warcraft (today only). Disclosure: I'm an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!

There are deals on various Leap Frog items, including:

  • The LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Alphabet Set is on sale for $10 (discounted from a list price of $21.99; ages 2-5).

  • LeapFrog Leapster Learning Game Batman is also $10 (discounted from $24.99; ages 5-7). I just picked this up for Alex - he received a Leapster2 a couple of years ago but I think he was too young for it. Hopefully, his love of Batman will encourage him to do some extra math :)

  • LeapFrog Didj Custom Learning Game SpongeBob SquarePants: Fists of Foam is just $9.75 (down from $29.99; ages 6-9).

  • LeapFrog Didj Custom Learning Game Star Wars: The Clone Wars is $7.27 (down from $29.99; ages 6-9).

  • LeapFrog Didj Custom Learning Game Indiana Jones is $8.22 (discounted from $29.99; ages 7-10).

  • LeapFrog LeapPad Educational Book: Anna's First Ballet is $6.74 (down from $14.99; K-1st grade).

  • There are more items on sale - you can see the full list here.

Also at Amazon, the free mp3 of the day is Auld Lang Syne by Chris Isaak.

Snapfish is offering 35% off all photo books with code 1206MERRY (exp 12/12). Don't forget to go through a shopping portal to get some cash back - Mr. Rebates is currently offering 12% back, and while they don't list this specific coupon code, they do list the Merry Deal Reveal, so they should honor the cash back offer.

    Stretching a Buck
has this week's Target match ups, including cheap Seventh Generation cleaners and Philly cream cheese. I'm thinking that if you have two of the $1/1 Philly coupon (no longer available) instead of the $1/2 she mentions, you might even be able to get overage on Itthe cream cheese, or at least it should be free.

Today only, Starbucks is offering a free $5 Starbucks gift card when you buy a pound of coffee.

Life as Mom has some terrific suggestions on handling the holidays with babies and toddlers.
