Morning Coffee: 1/3 done with the money lei

I've folded all the money, and now I've strung about one-third of the bills onto the ribbon for the money lei that will be our holiday class gift to the teacher. I think it's going to look quite impressive, but it's a labor-intensive project that I do not recommend if you're pressed for time. I actually took the bills on a playdate yesterday so that I could fold while talking!

You are working hard on that lei! Good luck with the final product. You should take a picture for the blog of it. Another ideas for the spring is to take a few snapshots in the classroom when you help out throughout the year. Then when walgreens has the free photo collage, make one ahead of time and use it for a thank you card at the end of the year. Or, if snapfish has some good deals in january, make a mug from some snapshots you maybe have from holiday activities in the classroom and give it to her later in the year- although she may already have lots of mugs!
