Morning Coffee: ESPN3 rocks!

ESPN3 is ESPN's online channel, so to speak, and airs many games that don't make it onto TV or are on specialty channels. I've become a huge fan of the site, because I watch games I wouldn't get to see otherwise. For example, as I draft this post on Saturday night, I'm watching/listening to live coverage of the University of Hawaii's game against UNLV. I love that I can watch these games without having to pay for a special package from the cable company (which I would never do).

You can preorder the 3-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo plus digital copy of Inception for $17.99 at Amazon. I've heard great things about this movie, but it sounds a little creepy so I'm not sure if I want to see it! Disclosure: I'm an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!

Totally Target has this week's Target match ups, and reports that you'll be able to get the travel version of Hungry Hungry Hippos for free.

Wild for Wags has some scenario ideas for this week's Walgreens Super Jingle Cash deal.

Savings Lifestyle shares a recipe for Deluxe Oatmeal Cookie Mix in a Jar.

Customers of Kroger stores may be able to load an e-coupon for $5/5 Keebler Cookies or Crackers. If you shop at a Kroger affiliate, cut and paste this link, then delete the "Kroger" and replace with the name of your store at the end of the link. Ralphs customers can click here. The coupon offer was on the last page for me. Some Keebler products are included in the Mega Sale so you might be able to get a good deal. (Via Savings Lifestyle.)

Get a printable coupon for $1/1 Mott's Medleys. I'll try to swing by Ralphs to see if these are included in the Mega Sale. (Via Printable Coupons and Deals.)

Speaking of the Ralphs Mega Sale, Slickdeals user alinna reports that there's a $1/1 Krusteaz cookie mix coupon in today's Smart Source, which would make for free + possible overage cookie mix.

@Anon - I have AT&T. The system must recognize that, because I've never had any access issues. I had to check the FAQ ( for more info about your problem. Apparently there are participating high speed internet service providers, and only their customers can access ESPN3. I would recommend checking the FAQ for more details, or contacting your ISP to see if they are a participating provider. Good luck!

We LOVE ESPN3! We are University of Michigan fans living in Nevada so we rarely get the games on basic cable. Thanks to ESPN3, we only missed one game this year!

Anon -- I believe your internet provider has to carry ESPN3. We did not get it last year, but now we have it. You may want to send Time Warner customer service an email requesting they carry it.
