Morning Coffee: Letting go of things to do

Every year since I started sending out holiday cards on my own, separate from my parents, I've included a newsletter about the past year. But for the first time this year, I've decided to forego the letter. If I insist on doing "perfect" cards, they're just not going to get done. So this year, I'm letting go of my need to do things "right," and sending out the cards as is. I guess it's my gift to myself :)

Amazon's Holiday Lightning Deals today include a Keebler variety pack at 9 a.m. PST (good for school lunches or snacks on the go), Keebler crackers at noon and 4 p.m., and Toy Story 3 figures at noon. Disclosure: I'm an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!

The vouchers can't be used toward shipping, but if I'm reading their FAQ correctly, standard shipping is free anyway. I bought an necklace a year or two ago and was really impressed with the quality of the item and the packaging, which really gave the gift a lush feel.
