Morning Coffee: Mashups are great for school lunches

A few weeks ago, I purchased a pack of Revolution Foods Organic Mashups, which are basically applesauce/fruit in a squeezable pouch. It's not the healthiest form of fruit, but it's unsweetened, and right now when it's hard to find fresh fruit that my picky adorable son will eat, these are perfect for school lunches. They're especially great because he can't open applesauce cups by himself, but he can open these if I break the seal first. These are still on sale for $20.77 for a pack of 24 pouches with Subscribe & Save, which works out to $0.87 per pouch. Disclosure: I'm an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!

I'm not sure if this code is still active, but if it is, you can get a free box of Coffee-Mate from Staples by ordering product number 424961 (Vanilla Coffee-Mate) for $6.99 and using coupon code 69486 (you can enter the item number into the search box and it should turn up). If you select in-store pickup, you won't have any shipping charges. The order form showed my total was $0 but still required me to enter a credit card number. Since it's a big reputable store like Staples, I was okay with it (and I used my American Express card, because they have awesome customer service so if there's a problem I can't resolve with Staples, I know Amex will take care of me). If you're uncertain about the $0 total (Staples has been known to cancel orders like these), you could add a $0.39 tape dispenser (item number 916215). (Via A Full Cup user tmsparks.)

Wild for Wags reports that today only, you can get free or cheap Chex Mix at Walgreens.

Tia's Saving Cents reports that you can get free Anthony's Pasta at Vons/Pavilions (and possibly other Safeway stores) with the printable coupon here (registration required). Note that her coupon was $1/1 but the one I just printed is $0.55/1. If your store doubles, the pasta will still be free.

Christian Clippers reports that you can get a free box of Clairol Color Blend Foam starting tomorrow on Facebook. You will probably have to "like" them, so you may want to do that now in order to minimize any waiting time on Facebook.

@Tia - Thanks! I checked, but maybe it hit the print limit, because I don't see any other coupons.
