Morning Coffee: Ralphs deals updated

I added a couple of comments to yesterday's Ralphs match ups, since I made a quick trip to the store yesterday. If you're a Ralphs shopper, you may want to take a look.

Amazon has some good Grocery Lightning Deals today, including an 18-pack of Horizon Organic Vanilla Milk Singles at 6 a.m. PST (look for it to be less than $14.02 to beat the Subscribe & Save price), and a 12-pack of Annie's Homegrown Shells & White Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese at 2 p.m. for less than $1.67/box. Disclosure: I'm an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!

Also at Amazon, the How to Train Your Dragon DVD is on sale for $8.99. I saw this movie in the theater and enjoyed the story, although the design of the animation could have been better (why is the main dragon basically a giant leathery slug?!).

CellfireCellfire is offering Kroger and Kroger affiliate customers (including Ralphs) a "Happy Hour" coupon today - I only got a $0.55 coupon, but hey, that's $0.55 off! And you might be luckier and get the $2 off coupon! Links via

Register for a printable coupon for $0.50/1 single or multipack Scotties Facial Tissue. You may be able to get a box free if your store doubles coupons. (Via Common Sense with Money.)

Through today, get a free 8.5x11 classic photo book with linen cover from Walgreens Photo with code FAVORITEBOOK2. You'll have to pay about $7 in shipping + applicable sales tax.

Get a printable coupon for $1/2 20-oz bottles of Coke, one of which must be Diet Coke.

If you're a Kraft First Taste member, check your account to see if you have an offer to try new Philadelphia Cooking Creme for free.

Wild for Wags reports that you can get cheap Kleenex at Walgreens on Sunday only. We've been going through so much tissue around here that I am definitely going to stock up on this deal. We got B3G1 Kleenex coupons in the 2/13 SS here, so I will but 7 boxes at $0.89 each with in-ad coupon and use 1 $0.50/3 printable and 1 B3G1 free coupon, pay $4.84 + tax, and get a $2 RR. That works out to $0.41 per box.

Borders filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy yesterday, but business is continuing as normal for now, including the Borders Rewards program, and they are still accepting gift cards (but you might want to use those up sooner rather than later).
