My Rite Aid trip this week

I had some +UP rewards that expire this week, and I liked the moneymaker deals at Rite Aid but even so, my transaction was one of those sublime events that made me feel like, Yeah, THIS is why I love The Drugstore Game! Everything was in stock, and none of the coupons beeped :)

It was also my first time planning my trip using I Heart Rite Aid's online transaction planner. I wish there was a quantity field, but other than having to re-enter the same items if I was buying more than one (or multiplying the amounts before entering them), it was perfect. Here's how it went:

2 Colgate Sensitive $3.50 each
1 Maalox $4.99
2 GE Energy Smart light bulbs $2.99 each
1 Chex Mix $1.50
3 Gain Fabric Softener $2.99 each (small bottle)
4 Diet Mountain Dew 20-oz bottles (a favorite treat around here) $1.49 + $0.10 CRV each

Subtotal: $33.30

Coupons used:
2 x $1/1 Colgate Senstive 02/06 SS
$5/1 Maalox 01/09 SS
2 x $1/1 Select GE Lightbulb Products, exp. 3-5-11 (SS 01/09/11 #2)
$0.50/1 GE Compact Fluorescent Bulbs Feb. Video Values
$0.50/1 GE Compact Fluorescent Bulbs Jan. Video Values
$1/1 Chex Mix from Vons/Pavilions Joy of Football coupon book
$0.50/1 Chex Mix, Bugles or Gardetto's Bagged Snacks Jan. Video Values
3 x $3/1 Gain Fabric Softener 02/13 RP
$12 in +UPs

Paid: $0.56 + $3.08 tax

Received: 2 x $3.50 +UP for Colgate, $1 +UP for Maalox, 2 x $2 +UP for GE, $1 +UP for Chex Mix

Basically, I just paid the tax!
